Superleague Formula

Our DP Robert Foster had a weekend in the Pits at the esteemed Brands Hatch racecourse down in Kent.

For the first time, Brands Hatch welcomed the Superleague Formula, which we were thrilled to cover. This is one of the world’s most iconic motor racing venues and plays host to some of the biggest international events on the calendar in 2010.

Robert operated on one of the many live cameras covering the event.

First used for grass track bike racing in 1926, Brands Hatch is a firm fans' favourite and has been the scene of some momentous occasions in motor racing history - from Ayrton Senna's first ever car victory and Nigel Mansell's first Grand Prix win, to the first-ever British Touring Car race.

The Superleague Formula was a huge weekend full of crowds of football loving petrol heads from all over the globe. Races also included in the packed weekend were; The GT Cup Championship, The Lotus Cup Europe and The Formula Junior. The cars in the Superleague Formula are similar to Formula One cars. However every team uses identical cars and 750-horsepower V-12 engines. Eighteen clubs took part including English clubs Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur. The results after Round 7 placed AC Milan in first position in the 2010 General Standings.

New Season Kick Off

We have kicked off the new premiership season with a bang filming an all new live show for

Manchester City Football Club.

After a very excitable Open Training Day at Manchester City stadium revealing the all-new kit, the blues had a roaring success in their opening friendly against Valencia at the beginning of the month with a 2-0 win. Our next day at SportCity saw the spectacular 3-0 win between MCFC and Liverpool, and in the Europa League, a 2-0 win against Timisoara.

We’ve been dashing around the stadium with a team of RF radio cameras providing Live coverage for City’s brand new Live Show at each Home Game with Presenter pieces and celebrity interviews – in addition to the match coverage experience that is! And, our very own sparkling new EX-3 has been filming the well-loved Golden Seats Winner sponsor films for each Home Game, where a lucky fan is whisked off by the Etihad Airways Taxi to the grounds where they enjoy all of the perks, star hospitality treatment and top-notch seats at the match. This is an ongoing popular feature at the club and an exciting opportunity for the doting fan.

With the season off to a winning start we are feeling very optimistic about the Cup returning to Manchester at the end of the season, come on you Blues!!
